Use Ionized Alkaline Water to Sprout Your Own Seeds at Home
Bob Hilke
Making your own sprouts is fun and healthy! Broccoli sprouts, for example, contain 100 times higher concentrations Glucoraphanin and Sulforaphane than the mature plant, and these are really great for your health. Making your own sprouts is inexpensive and easy.
Sprouts are also delicious. You can eat them in your sandwich, add them to your salad, or blend them in your smoothie.
Following are links to the seeds and supplies shown in our video…
Sprouting Seeds
We ordered the sprouting seeds you saw in the video from Handy Pantry (now part of True Leaf Market). These are the specific seeds we used:
Alfalfa Sprouting Seeds
Alfalfa sprouts are popular, diverse, nutritious and delicious. They are easy to grow, and they have a fresh earthy flavor that goes well with any meal.
Broccoli Sprouting Seeds
Broccoli sprouts are very nutritious, yielding 100 times the concentration of the mature plant for Glucoraphanin and Sulforaphane.
See Dr. Rhonda Patrick’s amazingly informative video extolling the benefits of Sulforaphane found in Broccoli sprouts. It is entitled: “Sulforaphane and Its Effects on Cancer, Mortality, Aging, Brain and Behavior, Heart Disease & More“.
Sprouting Jar Kit
This is the kit of sprouting jars with lids and screens, as well as the rack and tray to hold the jars between rinses.
